This creamy, low calorie sauce is easy to make and will be a nice addition to your collection of Vitamix weight loss recipes.
- 1 cup non fat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- A handful of dill
- a couple of basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 roasted tomato
- salt/pepper to taste
Start by roasting the tomato. When the tomato is sufficiently toasted, remove the skin and set it aside.
Add all ingredients into the Vitamix except the garlic.
Toast the garlic in a little bit of butter, be careful not to burn it. When the garlic is sufficiently toasted, add it to the blender. Blend on medium, slowly advancing to high.
This sauce makes a great topping for BBQ chicken, or a nice low calorie dressing for a salad. I used it on some chicken.
